About this set
Faceted vega, side by side
Broad flat facets cut around the outside turn each band into a softened polygon, so seen end on neither ring is quite a circle. The two rings share that cut at three millimetres. Worn together, the facets flash in wide planes rather than small sparks, which keeps the look calm and graphic rather than glittering. The pair is matched in every visible respect; his is simply a fraction heavier. It is the shared geometry, more than any detail, that makes them a set, and it shows most when the hands are side by side.
Each ring on its own
Faceted vega, hers weighs about 1g in 9ct and 1.5g in 18ct, the lightest of the gold couple rings; Faceted vega, his about 1.2g and 1.7g. Both are 3mm wide with a comfort fit inside. Alone, either is a slim band with more character than a plain round one, and the polygon outline makes an easy neighbour for an engagement ring.

Choosing between the options
At three millimetres the weights of 9ct and 18ct sit close, so the difference shows mostly in colour: 18ct is the deeper yellow, 9ct the harder alloy that holds facet edges crisp for longer. A couple drawn to facets but wanting more width might look at Square facet, at 4mm. One who wants the slim polygon for one hand only can buy a single ring and choose freely for the other.
