Flat, titanium
The lightest ring we make, and the least expensive.
Anodised channel
A band of real colour, set between natural metal edges.
Relieved black
Black cut back to bright metal along both edges.
Gold line, titanium
Solid gold inlaid down the centre of brushed titanium.
Gold line, black
The same gold line, against black instead of grey.
Wood inlay
Real wood, set into a titanium channel.

Colour made by voltage
Nothing is painted, plated or dyed. Zirconium grows its own oxide under electrical current, and the thickness of that film decides the colour. What you are looking at is the surface of the metal itself.

Every colour is the same metal
Raise the voltage and the film thickens, and the wavelength it cancels moves along the spectrum. Teal, violet, amber, rose. One material, no pigment, and none of it can wear off because there is nothing on top.

Heated in air, the same metal turns genuinely black. Machine that black away in lines and the pale zirconium beneath shows through. A plated ring wears through at the knuckle. This has nothing to wear through to.

- Can I try a ring before I buy one?
- Yes. We will post you a free ring sizer, and on request a sample band in your chosen material so you can feel the weight and width before you commit. Neither costs anything and neither obliges you to buy.
- How long does a ring take?
- Two to three weeks. Every ring is made in your size after you order rather than picked off a shelf, which is the reason we can offer widths and finishes a stock shop cannot.
- What happens if the size is wrong?
- We replace it, free, for as long as you own the ring. Contemporary metals cannot be stretched the way gold can, so replacement rather than resizing is the honest promise, and at our cost of making it is also the better one.
- Will the colour wear off an anodised ring?
- There is nothing on top to wear off. The colour is an oxide layer grown out of the metal itself by electrical current, not a coating applied over it. A deep scratch can reach past it, and we will refinish that free.
- Do you sell gold?
- Yes, in 9ct and 18ct, along with platinum and palladium, all hallmarked at the Birmingham Assay Office. Gold is on the menu, it is simply not the only thing on it.
- Where are the rings made?
- In the Birmingham Jewellery Quarter, by a manufacturer who has been hand finishing titanium and zirconium there since 1999. Coloured stones are sourced individually and set to order.
