Engagement rings, set to order

One mount, cast in 9ct, 14ct, 18ct or platinum. One stone, chosen against its report and shown to you before it is set. A halo or a set band if you want them, nothing if you do not.

Every engagement ring here is built the same way: a solitaire mount cast in the metal you choose, in the setting and band style you pick, and a centre stone selected individually from a graded, certified inventory rather than from a tray. You see the laboratory report for your specific stone, with its colour, clarity, cut and any treatment stated, before anything is set. Lab grown diamonds are graded on the same scale as mined ones and cost a fraction; the natural ladder starts under a carat, where a mined stone still makes financial sense.

Coloured stones are on hold. Our maker sets diamonds only, so sapphire, aquamarine and alexandrite wait on a setter who can mount them to the same standard, and their pages stay up so you can see each stone. Every setting and band style is a priced option on both diamond rings.

About engagement rings

Do I choose the actual stone?
Yes. Each ring is set with a stone selected individually against its laboratory report, and we send you that report before it is set. If you would rather a different stone within the same grade we will find one.
How long does an engagement ring take?
About four weeks: the stone is sourced, the mount is cast in your metal and size, and the ring is set, checked and hallmarked before it is posted insured.
What is the difference between 9ct, 18ct and platinum here?
The same mount in a different metal. 9ct is 37.5 per cent gold, harder wearing and the least expensive. 18ct is 75 per cent gold, richer in colour and heavier. Platinum is naturally white, never needs replating, and at today's gold price costs less than 18ct.
