The promises
Returns, and the lifetime promise
Two commitments, both written plainly, because a returns policy is where a shop shows you what it actually thinks of you.
Return anything, for any reason
One hundred days from the day it arrives. Not fourteen, which is the legal minimum, and not thirty, which is the usual gesture. Long enough to wear it through a normal month and know.
Engraved rings included. Personalised goods are normally excluded from the statutory right to cancel and we waive that. Engraving is free, so it would be strange to penalise you for using it.
We pay return postage. The ring travels insured. Refunds go back to the original payment method inside five working days of it reaching us.
Replaced free, for as long as you own it
Most of our rings are made from materials that cannot be resized. Zirconium and titanium cannot be stretched or cut and rejoined the way gold can, and any jeweller who says otherwise is describing a replacement.
So we say it directly: we replace rather than resize, and it is free. A size change because your fingers changed. Accidental damage because a ring met a door. Once per event, for as long as it is yours, and we do not interrogate you about what happened.
On gold and platinum, where resizing is genuinely possible, we resize instead. Same promise, better outcome for the ring.
What we will not do
We will not replace a ring that has been deliberately altered, cut off and rejoined by someone else, or lost. Insurance covers loss and we do not, because a promise that covers everything is a promise nobody can afford to keep.
Returns questions
- How long do I have to return a ring?
- One hundred days from delivery. That is well beyond the fourteen days the Consumer Contracts Regulations require, and it is deliberate: a wedding ring should be lived in for a few weeks before you decide.
- Can I return an engraved ring?
- Yes. Personalised goods are normally excluded from the statutory right to cancel, and we waive that exclusion. Engraving is free, so it would be a strange thing to punish you for using.
- What does the lifetime replacement cover?
- Size changes, and accidental damage. If your finger changes or you flatten the ring in a door, we replace it. Once per event, for as long as you own the ring, and we do not ask what happened.
- Who pays for return postage?
- We do, on any return inside the 100 days and on any replacement. Rings travel insured in both directions.
