About this set
Horizontal textured, side by side
At seven millimetres these are the widest of the gold couple sets, and both rings share the same pattern: deep textured cuts running across the face, with bright polish left between them. The band alternates matte and mirror as it turns, so on two hands it reads boldly, more like a strong graphic stripe than a plain ring. Because the design is identical, a pair worn together repeats the rhythm from one hand to the other. The only difference is weight, and his carries a little more of it.
Each ring on its own
Horizontal textured, hers comes in at about 2g in 9ct and 2.8g in 18ct; Horizontal textured, his at about 2.3g and 3.2g. Each is 7mm wide with a comfort fit, which matters at this width: the rounded inner edge keeps a broad band comfortable through the day. Bought singly, it is a statement ring that needs no partner to make sense.

Choosing between the options
Seven millimetres is a deliberate choice, and on a slimmer finger it covers a good part of the space up to the knuckle. Where you both like the width, the set is straightforward; if only one of you does, a ring from this set beside a narrower band works well. Between the carats, 9ct is harder and lighter, and 18ct deeper in colour and heavier.
