The two rings

Mosaic, hers

Six millimetres with a pattern of small polished and textured blocks worked all the way around. Comfort fit inside, so the inner edge is rounded rather than left square against the finger. About 1.8g in 9ct and 2.6g in 18ct. It is one half of a set: order it with the matching men's ring and the pair is ten per cent off.

About this set

Mosaic, side by side

Mosaic works a pattern of small blocks all the way round a six millimetre band, some polished and some textured, so the surface reads as a patchwork of bright and soft. Both rings carry the same pattern at the same width. Held together, the blocks catch light in a scatter rather than a line, and the effect is warmer and less formal than a faceted or striped band. The rings are near twins: his weighs a fraction more, and otherwise the pair is one design shared between two people.

Each ring on its own

Each Mosaic ring is 6mm wide in yellow gold, with a comfort fit inside. The hers weighs about 1.8g in 9ct and 2.6g in 18ct, the his about 2g and 2.8g. Worn alone it has the presence of a wider band without looking plain, because the alternating blocks give the eye something to follow round the finger. Either ring can be ordered by itself.

Choosing between the options

The pattern hides everyday marks well: a scratch on a textured block blends in, and the polished blocks are small. That makes 9ct a sound choice, while 18ct gives a deeper yellow and more weight at this width. Six millimetres is generous for gold. Two different rings make more sense if one of you wants a slimmer band, though the Mosaic texture is distinctive enough that a single ring still reads as yours.

About the Mosaic rings

Can I buy just one ring from the Mosaic set?
Yes. Choose hers only or his only above and the ring is made on its own, at its own price (hers from £609, his from £629). The ten per cent only comes off when both rings are in the same order.
Do the two rings have to be the same size?
No. Each ring is made in its own size, and you choose the two separately. If one of you does not know their size yet, choose I do not know yet and we confirm it before anything is made.
What is the difference between the two Mosaic rings?
Hers is 6mm in 9ct gold or 18ct gold, textured. His is 6mm in 9ct gold or 18ct gold, textured. Small polished and textured blocks worked around the band.
How much is the Mosaic set in each gold?
In 9ct gold, £1,115 for both, saving £123 on £1,238. In 18ct gold, £1,755 for both, saving £195 on £1,950. Each figure includes UK delivery.
How long will the pair take?
About 4 weeks. The two are made together, so they arrive together, and the slower of the two rings sets the date.
