About this set
Satin granulated, side by side
Two surfaces on one width. Both rings are six millimetres of yellow gold, but hers is granulated, a surface of tiny raised grains that takes the light like frost, while his is brushed to a soft satin all the way round. Side by side they make a study in texture: the granulated ring glints in fine points, the satin ring glows evenly without any sparkle at all. Neither is shiny in the mirror sense, and that shared restraint is what ties them together; each holds its light quietly, in a different grain.
Each ring on its own
Satin granulated, hers is a 6mm granulated band weighing about 2.1g in 9ct and 2.9g in 18ct. Satin granulated, his is a 6mm brushed satin band at about 2.6g in 9ct and 3.6g in 18ct, the more substantial of the two. Both have a comfort fit inside. The satin ring is the plainer and partners easily with almost anything; the granulated one is a textured ring in its own right.

Choosing between the options
A brushed finish and a granulated one both soften the look of everyday wear, so the carat decision rests mostly on colour and weight. 18ct is deeper in tone and heavier in the hand, where 9ct is lighter and slightly harder wearing. If one of you wants shine, two different rings may suit better, since nothing in this set is polished. If you both prefer a soft surface, this pairing gives you two versions of it.
