Hand hammered titanium, nothing else.

About this ring
Hammered titanium, in detail
Every facet on this ring is struck by hand, so the surface becomes a field of small shallow planes, each catching the light at its own angle. Turn the hand and the brightness travels across the band in flickers rather than one steady line, and no two rings carry quite the same pattern. Along both edges the metal is left polished and smooth, a clean frame that keeps the texture looking intentional. Nothing else is added: no inlay, no stone, no colour. Where the hammered black and anodised versions change the ground, this keeps the plain grey of titanium and lets the hammer do the work.
How it wears
Titanium is the lightest metal in the range, so even a wide hammered band sits on the finger with very little sense of weight. A faceted surface is a forgiving one: a fine scratch lands among dozens of hammer marks and is hard to find again. The polished edges are where everyday wear shows first, softening slowly to a gentle sheen. The metal is hypoallergenic, and the ring is better off the hand for heavy or abrasive work.
Choosing yours
Widths run from 4 to 10mm. At 4 or 5mm there are fewer facets across the face and the ring reads as a gently textured band, a natural fit for a slimmer finger or a quieter taste. At 7 or 8mm the hammering comes into its own, and at 9 or 10mm it becomes the defining thing on the hand.
Struck one by one, the facets never match exactly between two rings, which suits a couple who want bands related but each their own. For a stone in the same surface, there is Hammered titanium, diamond set.
Width by width
| Width | How it reads | Weight, est. | Price |
|---|---|---|---|
| 4mm | Slim, the quietest everyday width | 1.5g | £199 |
| 5mm | Between slim and classic | 1.8g | £199 |
| 6mm | Classic, the usual starting point for a band | 2.2g | £199 |
| 7mm | Classic to broad, more of the pattern shows | 2.5g | £199 |
| 8mm | Broad, a ring that is clearly there | 2.9g | £225 |
| 9mm | Wide and bold, best on a larger hand | 3.3g | £225 |
| 10mm | Wide and bold, best on a larger hand | 3.6g | £225 |
Weights are estimates for a plain band of the same width in titanium at UK size N with a 1.6mm wall, from the model in our ring weight calculator. A pattern cut into the surface removes a little metal, so the finished ring is slightly lighter. The price steps up at the widths that take more metal to make.

The metal, in brief
Titanium is by a distance the lightest metal we make rings in. At about 4.5 g per cubic centimetre it is under a third the reference density of 18ct yellow gold. GETi says it normally uses Grade 2 for its designs and reserves higher-tensile Grade 5 for tension-set rings, so the exact grade belongs in the specification of the ring rather than a range-wide claim.
Surface hardness Mohs 6, density 4.5 g/cm³, and hypoallergenic, so it is a sound choice for skin that reacts to nickel. It is not a precious metal, so it carries no hallmark.
Compared side by side: Anodised zirconium or titanium, Black zirconium or titanium, Sterling silver or titanium. Or read the full titanium guide.
About Hammered titanium
- Can this ring be resized?
- Limited enlargement may be possible. GETi says grade 5 titanium cannot be stretched or compressed: machining the inside larger removes metal and cannot reduce the size. Wall thickness, stones and inlays limit that option. Grade 2 titanium has different possibilities, so check the actual grade and design. A remake may be offered instead; confirm what happens to the original ring, engraving and finish before agreeing.
- Is engraving included?
- Yes, and it is optional. Leave the box blank and the ring is made plain. If you do want one it is laser cut inside the band where the ring is made, rather than sent out to a third party, and there is no charge and no extra wait.
- How long will it take?
- 2 to 3 weeks. It is made in your size after you order, not picked off a shelf, and that is the reason the widths and finishes are open choices.
- Can I return it if I have it engraved?
- Not for a change of mind. An engraving makes the ring clearly personalised, which puts it outside the statutory right to cancel, and it cannot be resold. Every ring shop draws the line here. Order it plain and you keep the full 30 days. Either way, a ring that arrives faulty or is not what you ordered is covered by the Consumer Rights Act, which nothing waives.
- How much does the Hammered titanium ring weigh?
- About 1.5g at 4mm, 2.2g at 6mm, 3.6g at 10mm, estimated for a plain band in titanium at UK size N. Larger sizes and wider bands weigh more. It is a light ring by any standard: 18ct gold of the same size is more than twice the weight.
- What widths does it come in, and do they cost the same?
- 4 to 10mm. 4mm, 5mm, 6mm, 7mm are £199, and 8mm, 9mm, 10mm £225, because the wider bands take more metal to make.
- What is closest to the Hammered titanium in the range?
- Faceted, titanium (titanium) and Morse code, titanium (titanium). The comparison table on this page sets them side by side on metal, width, hardness and price.
- What if I get the size wrong?
- If it is unengraved, return it inside 30 days and we refund it, and we pay the postage. Use the free ring size finder first if you are unsure, and if the ring is a surprise, ask us and we will talk you through the ways to find out without asking them.
