About this ring
Twin platinum lines, titanium, in detail
Two narrow lines of platinum 950 run parallel around a satin titanium band, set flush. The platinum is the brighter, cooler white and the titanium a soft grey, so the lines read as two fine threads of light across a muted ground. There is no gold anywhere on the ring. Where the single platinum line marks the centre, two lines give the band a rhythm, a little like the double rule beneath a heading, and make the precious metal more visible without making it loud.
How it wears
Titanium keeps the band light and comfortable for constant wear, even at the wider sizes. It can pick up fine surface marks, and the satin finish takes them quietly into its own brushed grain. Both platinum lines are inlaid flush, so the surface runs smooth under a thumb and snags on nothing. Platinum and titanium are both hypoallergenic, which suits skin that reacts to nickel. Heavy, abrasive jobs are the moments when the ring is better set aside.
Choosing yours
On a 4 or 5mm band the two lines sit close and read almost as one bright stripe; at 8 to 10mm they separate across a wider grey field and the parallel becomes the point. It is a ring for someone who wants precious metal, prefers white to gold, and likes a little more of it than a single line gives. It pairs naturally with Platinum line, titanium: one line and two on matching satin, for a couple who want rings that are related but distinct.

The metal, in brief
Titanium is by a distance the lightest metal we make rings in. At about 4.5 g per cubic centimetre it is under a third the reference density of 18ct yellow gold. GETi says it normally uses Grade 2 for its designs and reserves higher-tensile Grade 5 for tension-set rings, so the exact grade belongs in the specification of the ring rather than a range-wide claim.
Surface hardness Mohs 6, density 4.5 g/cm³, and hypoallergenic, so it is a sound choice for skin that reacts to nickel. It is not a precious metal, so it carries no hallmark.

About Twin platinum lines, titanium
- Can this ring be resized?
- Limited enlargement may be possible. GETi says grade 5 titanium cannot be stretched or compressed: machining the inside larger removes metal and cannot reduce the size. Wall thickness, stones and inlays limit that option. Grade 2 titanium has different possibilities, so check the actual grade and design. A remake may be offered instead; confirm what happens to the original ring, engraving and finish before agreeing.
- Is engraving included?
- Yes, and it is optional. Leave the box blank and the ring is made plain. If you do want one it is laser cut inside the band where the ring is made, rather than sent out to a third party, and there is no charge and no extra wait.
- How long will it take?
- 2 to 3 weeks. It is made in your size after you order, not picked off a shelf, and that is the reason the widths and finishes are open choices.
- Can I return it if I have it engraved?
- Not for a change of mind. An engraving makes the ring clearly personalised, which puts it outside the statutory right to cancel, and it cannot be resold. Every ring shop draws the line here. Order it plain and you keep the full 30 days. Either way, a ring that arrives faulty or is not what you ordered is covered by the Consumer Rights Act, which nothing waives.
- How much does the Twin platinum lines, titanium ring weigh?
- About 1.5g at 4mm, 2.2g at 6mm, 3.6g at 10mm, estimated for a plain band in titanium at UK size N. Larger sizes and wider bands weigh more. It is a light ring by any standard: 18ct gold of the same size is more than twice the weight.
- What widths does it come in, and do they cost the same?
- 4 to 10mm. 4mm, 5mm, 6mm, 7mm are £499, and 8mm, 9mm, 10mm £525, because the wider bands take more metal to make.
- What is closest to the Twin platinum lines, titanium in the range?
- Rose gold line, offset (titanium with gold inlay) and Twin gold lines, titanium (titanium with gold inlay). The comparison table on this page sets them side by side on metal, width, hardness and price.
- What if I get the size wrong?
- If it is unengraved, return it inside 30 days and we refund it, and we pay the postage. Use the free ring size finder first if you are unsure, and if the ring is a surprise, ask us and we will talk you through the ways to find out without asking them.
