About this ring

White and rose gold lines, in detail

Two narrow inlays of solid 9ct gold, one white and one rose, run side by side around a flat titanium band. Together with the satin grey of the titanium that makes three tones on one ring: cool white, warm rose and soft grey, each one the real material rather than a plating or a colour. The lines are fine, so the ring stays restrained, but the difference between the two golds is unmistakable once noticed. It is a quieter relation of the two-gold inlay, using two lines where that ring uses one broad strip.

How it wears

The band is titanium, under a third the density of 18ct yellow gold, which makes it one of the easiest rings in the range to wear from morning to night. Its satin surface can pick up fine marks and absorbs them into its own brushed texture. Both gold lines are set flush, so the face stays smooth and level. The ring is hypoallergenic. For abrasive work it is happier in a dish than on the hand.

Choosing yours

Width sets how much grey surrounds the two golds. At 4 or 5mm the lines take up much of the face and the warm and cool tones sit close; at 8 to 10mm titanium spreads around them and the three tones become distinct. It suits someone who likes mixed metals without wanting either gold to dominate, and anyone who already wears rose or white gold elsewhere. Beside Rose and yellow gold inlay, which also comes in white and rose as one wide strip, it makes a related but lighter pair.

The metal, in brief

Titanium is by a distance the lightest metal we make rings in. At about 4.5 g per cubic centimetre it is under a third the reference density of 18ct yellow gold. GETi says it normally uses Grade 2 for its designs and reserves higher-tensile Grade 5 for tension-set rings, so the exact grade belongs in the specification of the ring rather than a range-wide claim.

Surface hardness Mohs 6, density 4.5 g/cm³, and hypoallergenic, so it is a sound choice for skin that reacts to nickel. It is not a precious metal, so it carries no hallmark.

About White and rose gold lines

Can this ring be resized?
Limited enlargement may be possible. GETi says grade 5 titanium cannot be stretched or compressed: machining the inside larger removes metal and cannot reduce the size. Wall thickness, stones and inlays limit that option. Grade 2 titanium has different possibilities, so check the actual grade and design. A remake may be offered instead; confirm what happens to the original ring, engraving and finish before agreeing.
Is engraving included?
Yes, and it is optional. Leave the box blank and the ring is made plain. If you do want one it is laser cut inside the band where the ring is made, rather than sent out to a third party, and there is no charge and no extra wait.
How long will it take?
2 to 3 weeks. It is made in your size after you order, not picked off a shelf, and that is the reason the widths and finishes are open choices.
Can I return it if I have it engraved?
Not for a change of mind. An engraving makes the ring clearly personalised, which puts it outside the statutory right to cancel, and it cannot be resold. Every ring shop draws the line here. Order it plain and you keep the full 30 days. Either way, a ring that arrives faulty or is not what you ordered is covered by the Consumer Rights Act, which nothing waives.
How much does the White and rose gold lines ring weigh?
About 1.5g at 4mm, 2.2g at 6mm, 3.6g at 10mm, estimated for a plain band in titanium at UK size N. Larger sizes and wider bands weigh more. It is a light ring by any standard: 18ct gold of the same size is more than twice the weight.
What widths does it come in, and do they cost the same?
4 to 10mm. 4mm, 5mm, 6mm, 7mm are £449, and 8mm, 9mm, 10mm £475, because the wider bands take more metal to make.
What is closest to the White and rose gold lines in the range?
Twin gold lines, titanium (titanium with gold inlay) and Rose gold line, offset (titanium with gold inlay). The comparison table on this page sets them side by side on metal, width, hardness and price.
What if I get the size wrong?
If it is unengraved, return it inside 30 days and we refund it, and we pay the postage. Use the free ring size finder first if you are unsure, and if the ring is a surprise, ask us and we will talk you through the ways to find out without asking them.
