Wildflowers, diamond set

From £575

Flowers cut around the band, with one diamond set among them.

A meadow of laser cut wildflowers runs around a titanium band, with a single diamond flush set where the design opens. Cut at depth so the flowers hold shadow, in satin titanium a third the weight of gold. The one laser design here drawn for a woman's hand first.

About this ring

Wildflowers, diamond set, in detail

A meadow of wildflowers runs around this titanium band, laser cut deep enough that the flowers hold their own shadow against the satin ground. Where the design opens, a single small diamond is set flush, as though it were one more bloom catching the sun. The effect is softer than the geometric patterns elsewhere in the range: curved, loose and botanical rather than ruled. It is the only laser design here drawn first for a woman's hand, and it has the lightness of a sketch rather than the weight of a carving.

How it wears

Titanium keeps this ring light, a third the weight of gold, and the cut flowers hide the fine surface marks it can collect: small scuffs vanish among petals and stems. The diamond, 0.03 of a carat and Mohs 10, is set level with the metal, so there is no claw to catch on a jumper or a glove. The surface is hypoallergenic. Abrasive or heavy work is the only time it is worth taking off.

Choosing yours

On a slimmer finger, 4 or 5mm keeps the flowers fine and the ring close to a stacking band, easy to wear beside an engagement ring. From 7mm upward the meadow opens out and the diamond becomes a found detail rather than the focus. The design pairs with itself, so a partner can wear the same band, perhaps wider. For a partner who would rather have no stone, Koi, titanium and Runes, titanium are laser cut the same way into the same metal.

Width by width

Each width this ring is made in
WidthHow it readsWeight, est.Price
4mm Slim, the quietest everyday width 1.5g £575
5mm Between slim and classic 1.8g £575
6mm Classic, the usual starting point for a band 2.2g £575
7mm Classic to broad, more of the pattern shows 2.5g £575
8mm Broad, a ring that is clearly there 2.9g £600
9mm Wide and bold, best on a larger hand 3.3g £600
10mm Wide and bold, best on a larger hand 3.6g £600

Weights are estimates for a plain band of the same width in titanium at UK size N with a 1.6mm wall, from the model in our ring weight calculator. A pattern cut into the surface removes a little metal, so the finished ring is slightly lighter. The price steps up at the widths that take more metal to make.

The metal, in brief

Titanium is by a distance the lightest metal we make rings in. At about 4.5 g per cubic centimetre it is under a third the reference density of 18ct yellow gold. GETi says it normally uses Grade 2 for its designs and reserves higher-tensile Grade 5 for tension-set rings, so the exact grade belongs in the specification of the ring rather than a range-wide claim.

Surface hardness Mohs 6, density 4.5 g/cm³, and hypoallergenic, so it is a sound choice for skin that reacts to nickel. It is not a precious metal, so it carries no hallmark.

Compared side by side: Anodised zirconium or titanium, Black zirconium or titanium, Sterling silver or titanium. Or read the full titanium guide.

About Wildflowers, diamond set

Can this ring be resized?
Limited enlargement may be possible. GETi says grade 5 titanium cannot be stretched or compressed: machining the inside larger removes metal and cannot reduce the size. Wall thickness, stones and inlays limit that option. Grade 2 titanium has different possibilities, so check the actual grade and design. A remake may be offered instead; confirm what happens to the original ring, engraving and finish before agreeing.
Is engraving included?
Yes, and it is optional. Leave the box blank and the ring is made plain. If you do want one it is laser cut inside the band where the ring is made, rather than sent out to a third party, and there is no charge and no extra wait.
How long will it take?
2 to 3 weeks. It is made in your size after you order, not picked off a shelf, and that is the reason the widths and finishes are open choices.
Can I return it if I have it engraved?
Not for a change of mind. An engraving makes the ring clearly personalised, which puts it outside the statutory right to cancel, and it cannot be resold. Every ring shop draws the line here. Order it plain and you keep the full 30 days. Either way, a ring that arrives faulty or is not what you ordered is covered by the Consumer Rights Act, which nothing waives.
How much does the Wildflowers, diamond set ring weigh?
About 1.5g at 4mm, 2.2g at 6mm, 3.6g at 10mm, estimated for a plain band in titanium at UK size N. Larger sizes and wider bands weigh more. It is a light ring by any standard: 18ct gold of the same size is more than twice the weight.
What widths does it come in, and do they cost the same?
4 to 10mm. 4mm, 5mm, 6mm, 7mm are £575, and 8mm, 9mm, 10mm £600, because the wider bands take more metal to make.
What is closest to the Wildflowers, diamond set in the range?
Three diamonds, titanium (titanium) and Hammered titanium, diamond set (titanium). The comparison table on this page sets them side by side on metal, width, hardness and price.
What if I get the size wrong?
If it is unengraved, return it inside 30 days and we refund it, and we pay the postage. Use the free ring size finder first if you are unsure, and if the ring is a surprise, ask us and we will talk you through the ways to find out without asking them.
