Diamond set, titanium
From £349
One small diamond, flush set into brushed titanium.
A single diamond set level with the surface, so it cannot catch and cannot be knocked out the way a raised stone can. Against grey titanium it reads as a point of light rather than a jewel, which is what most people want on a band they will wear every day. The least expensive set ring we make.

About this ring
Diamond set, titanium, in detail
A plain titanium band with one small diamond set flush into its face. The stone sits level with the metal, with no claws and no raised collar, so the profile stays clean from every side. At 0.03 of a carat it is a point of light rather than a feature, and against grey titanium it flickers rather than flashes. In satin the band is soft and matte and the diamond is the only bright thing on it. Polished, the whole ring shines and the stone becomes a sharper spark inside that shine. It is the quietest way in the range to put a stone on an everyday band.
How it wears
Because the diamond is set level with the surface, there is nothing to catch on knitwear, gloves or hair, and nothing for a knock to prise out the way it could a raised stone. Diamond sits at Mohs 10, harder than anything it will meet in a day. The titanium around it is Mohs 6 and may gather fine marks; on satin these blend into the brushing, while a polished band shows them a little more readily. Either way the ring weighs very little and is hypoallergenic.
Choosing yours
Two decisions here: finish and width. Satin suits someone who wants the ring to read quietly, with the diamond as its only shine; polished gives a brighter, more classic band. The stone is the same 0.03 of a carat across every width from 4 to 10mm, so on a slim band it fills more of the face and looks generous, while on a wide one it becomes a small, deliberate detail. The ring pairs with itself, so a couple can wear two, perhaps one satin and one polished, and still match.
Width by width
| Width | How it reads | Weight, est. | Price |
|---|---|---|---|
| 4mm | Slim, the quietest everyday width | 1.5g | £349 |
| 5mm | Between slim and classic | 1.8g | £349 |
| 6mm | Classic, the usual starting point for a band | 2.2g | £349 |
| 7mm | Classic to broad, more of the pattern shows | 2.5g | £349 |
| 8mm | Broad, a ring that is clearly there | 2.9g | £375 |
| 9mm | Wide and bold, best on a larger hand | 3.3g | £375 |
| 10mm | Wide and bold, best on a larger hand | 3.6g | £375 |
Weights are estimates for a plain band of the same width in titanium at UK size N with a 1.6mm wall, from the model in our ring weight calculator. A pattern cut into the surface removes a little metal, so the finished ring is slightly lighter. The price steps up at the widths that take more metal to make.

The metal, in brief
Titanium is by a distance the lightest metal we make rings in. At about 4.5 g per cubic centimetre it is under a third the reference density of 18ct yellow gold. GETi says it normally uses Grade 2 for its designs and reserves higher-tensile Grade 5 for tension-set rings, so the exact grade belongs in the specification of the ring rather than a range-wide claim.
Surface hardness Mohs 6, density 4.5 g/cm³, and hypoallergenic, so it is a sound choice for skin that reacts to nickel. It is not a precious metal, so it carries no hallmark.
Compared side by side: Anodised zirconium or titanium, Black zirconium or titanium, Sterling silver or titanium. Or read the full titanium guide.
About Diamond set, titanium
- Can this ring be resized?
- Limited enlargement may be possible. GETi says grade 5 titanium cannot be stretched or compressed: machining the inside larger removes metal and cannot reduce the size. Wall thickness, stones and inlays limit that option. Grade 2 titanium has different possibilities, so check the actual grade and design. A remake may be offered instead; confirm what happens to the original ring, engraving and finish before agreeing.
- Is engraving included?
- Yes, and it is optional. Leave the box blank and the ring is made plain. If you do want one it is laser cut inside the band where the ring is made, rather than sent out to a third party, and there is no charge and no extra wait.
- How long will it take?
- 2 to 3 weeks. It is made in your size after you order, not picked off a shelf, and that is the reason the widths and finishes are open choices.
- Can I return it if I have it engraved?
- Not for a change of mind. An engraving makes the ring clearly personalised, which puts it outside the statutory right to cancel, and it cannot be resold. Every ring shop draws the line here. Order it plain and you keep the full 30 days. Either way, a ring that arrives faulty or is not what you ordered is covered by the Consumer Rights Act, which nothing waives.
- How much does the Diamond set, titanium ring weigh?
- About 1.5g at 4mm, 2.2g at 6mm, 3.6g at 10mm, estimated for a plain band in titanium at UK size N. Larger sizes and wider bands weigh more. It is a light ring by any standard: 18ct gold of the same size is more than twice the weight.
- What widths does it come in, and do they cost the same?
- 4 to 10mm. 4mm, 5mm, 6mm, 7mm are £349, and 8mm, 9mm, 10mm £375, because the wider bands take more metal to make.
- What is closest to the Diamond set, titanium in the range?
- Aztec, titanium (titanium) and Koi, titanium (titanium). The comparison table on this page sets them side by side on metal, width, hardness and price.
- What if I get the size wrong?
- If it is unengraved, return it inside 30 days and we refund it, and we pay the postage. Use the free ring size finder first if you are unsure, and if the ring is a surprise, ask us and we will talk you through the ways to find out without asking them.
